Mollaşakir (Kurd. Botan ) is a village in Karlıova County in the Turkish province of Bingöl . Mollaşakir is located in Eastern Anatolia at 1,900 m above sea level, about 24 km northeast of Karlıova.

The land registry gives the earlier name Botan.

In 1985 510 people lived in Mollaşakir. In 2009 the village had 532 inhabitants.
