Żabianka-Wejhera-Jelitkowo-Tysiąclecia (German Glettkau and Poggenkrug , Kashubian Żôbiónka-Wejra-Jelëtkòwò-Tësąclatégò ) is a district of Gdańsk ( Danzig ) in Poland . This covers an area of 2.3 km² and has 18,546 inhabitants with a population density of 7947 inhabitants / km². In 1926 the area was administratively part of the city of Gdansk.
geography
The district is the westernmost municipality in the Gulf of Gdansk , bordering the municipalities Przymorze Wielkie , Przymorze Małe , Oliwa and the city of Sopot ( Sopot ). The Potok Oliwiski ( Glettkaubach ) flows into the Baltic Sea in Jelitkowo .

traffic
The Żabianka-Wejhera-Jelitkowo-Tysiąclecia district can be reached via the Gdańsk Żabianka-AWFiS S-Bahn station and the tram. The Gdańsk Oliva and Sopot long-distance train stations are one and two stops away, respectively. Buses run u. a. from Jelitkowo to Sopot. On the coast there is a cycle path to Brzeźno ( Brösen ) and Sopot.
