The 1950/51 season was the twelfth season of the 1st divisjon , the highest Norwegian ice hockey division . Champion became Furuset Ishockey for the second time in the club's history .

In the main round, each of the eight teams played a total of seven games. The first place in the main round was champion. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
