The 1969/70 season was the 31st season of the 1st divisjon , the highest Norwegian ice hockey division . Champion was Vålerenga Ishockey for the ninth time in the club's history . Hasle-Løren Idrettslag and Sparta Sarpsborg were relegated to the second division.
