The A31 is a trunk road in Kazakhstan in the far west of the country. The road is an east-west route from Chapayev to Schänibek to the border with Russia .
Street description
The A31 leads from Tschapajew to the A28 . The route leads west through Qastalowka around Schänibek to the Russian border. On the Russian side, the side road continues towards Volgograd . The A31 has no special meaning. The entire route is in European Kazakhstan.
history
The A31 was renumbered in 2011, replacing the R44, which dates from the early 1990s.
