HT&E - Here, There & Everywhere (Formerly APN News & Media (ANM)) is an Australia- based media industry company. Together with its competitor Fairfax Media, it is one of the two largest companies in the Australian and New Zealand newspaper and media markets and is active in the so-called outdoor advertising market in both countries , publishes numerous newspapers and magazines, and operates radio stations and Internet portals. The company is listed in the NZX 50 index .

The Australian market is served by APN News & Media and the subsidiary APN Media (NZ) Limited , based in Auckland, was founded for the New Zealand market on October 15, 2010 and has been listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange (NZX) since December 8, 2010. is listed.

Owner and management

The APN News & Media is a public limited company and is about the Irish media company Independent News & Media controls (INM), which by its own account in 2011 accounted for 31.6% of APN News & Media held and thus the largest shareholder is. In 1968, some newspaper owners in Queensland got together and founded the Provincial Newspapers of Queensland (PNQ). 20 years later, PNQ was bought by Independent News & Media and listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 1992 as Australian Provincial Newspapers (APN). A short time later the company was renamed APN News & Media Limited .

In 1997, APN bought 33% of The Radio Network , New Zealand's largest radio station. In 2001, APN bought Wilson & Horton Limited and took over New Zealand's largest daily newspaper, the New Zealand Herald . Further acquisitions in the New Zealand market followed. With a newspaper circulation of around 260,000 copies and an average readership of around 811,000 readers, APN was able to win around 45% of the New Zealand market.

In 2017, the company's name was changed from APN News & Media to HT&E - Here, There & Everywhere.

In 2009, APN News & Media stated that it was active in the markets of Australia with 52%, New Zealand with 41% and Asia with 7%. The company's business areas are divided as follows:

In the field of outdoor advertising , APN is active in Hong Kong and Indonesia in addition to Australia and New Zealand, generating a profit of AU $ 6.9 million in 2009 with sales of AU $ 109.4 million.
