Achim Kirschning

Joachim "Achim" Kirschning (born January 5, 1952 ) is a German musician and composer who played keyboarder with the Scorpions from 1973 to 1974 .

Life

First Achim Kirschning played together with Jürgen Rosenthal , Uli Jon Roth and Francis Buchholz in the group Dawn Road, which merged with the Scorpions in 1973. Together with Rudolf Schenker and Klaus Meine they signed a recording contract with RCA Records and recorded the album Fly to the Rainbow . For the album Serene , Kirschning is not only a keyboardist, but also a composer and lyricist.

Kirschning later worked as a teacher and was Rector of the Robert Koch Secondary School in Langenhagen between 1990 and 2013 .
