Barry Sparks

Barry Sparks (born June 20, 1968 in Lucasville (Ohio) ) is an American musician.

Life

Barry Sparks started playing the guitar when he was ten years old. In 1989, Sparks moved from Tucson to Los Angeles , where he met Yngwie Malmsteen ; With him he went on tour for the album The Seventh Sign in 1994 and played electric bass for his albums I Can't Wait and Magnum Opus . At the beginning of 1996 he joined the Michael Schenker Group and recorded four albums between 1995 and 2000. Around 1998 he played with the pop singer Billie Myers and from 1999 to 2001 he performed again with the Michael Schenker Group. Sparks worked with UFO on the UK Tour The Visitor and You Are Here Tour. He joined the band Dokken in 2001 and toured with a roster of veteran rockers including Whitesnake , Scorpions and most recently Ted Nugent .
