Ralph Rieckermann
Ralph Rieckermann (born August 8, 1962 in Lübeck ) is a German musician and film composer for B-Movies . He became known as the bass player for the rock band Scorpions .
Life
Ralph Rieckermann was born in Lübeck in 1962. At the age of 16 he received music lessons in piano and bass and later studied music. In 1987 Rieckermann moved to Los Angeles and played with various bands in the music scene.
In 1992 he succeeded Francis Buchholz as bassist for the Scorpions. He recorded several albums with them until 2003 and went on several world tours with them. In 2003 Rieckermann ended his career as a bass player with the Scorpions. He lives in Los Angeles.
Rieckermann has been active as a film composer since 1997. He is also artistically active as a painter and performs as a DJ.
