Live Bites is the third live album by the German hard rock band Scorpions after the release of Tokyo Tapes (1978) and World Wide Live (1985) . It was released in April 1995. Depending on the version, it also contains various new studio material in addition to various live recordings.

In contrast to its two predecessors, Live Bites is a bit smaller. Instead of material from a concert or an event location, it contains a collection of various recordings between 1988 and 1994. Furthermore, the album closes with some studio recordings, which also includes those from the Deprives predecessors of the familiar atmosphere. It is also the group's shortest live album. The individual songs were recorded in Leningrad (Russia), San Francisco (USA), Mexico City (Mexico), Berlin and Munich (Germany).

Title selection

War World Wide Live aims to include only titles that have appeared since the publication of the first live album and thus "double" to offer no title, so this is - apart from the exception of the song In Trance , which is already on Tokyo Tapes to was found - also the case here, but there are also some songs before the World Wide Live time 1985 that were not previously published on any of the two previously released live albums.

Criticism, sales and awards

The album reached number 66 in the German album charts. In addition, around 3.5 million units of the album were sold worldwide.
