The men's 3000 meter obstacle course at the 2019 African Games took place on August 26 at the Stade Moulay Abdallah in Rabat .

16 obstacle runners from nine countries took part in the competition. Benjamin Kigen won the gold medal with 8: 12.39 min, silver went to Getnet Wale with 8: 14.06 min and Soufiane El Bakkali won the bronze medal with 8: 19.45 min.
