Aguilar is a municipality in the Philippine province of Pangasinan . In the south it borders on the province of Zambales . In 2015 it had 41,463 inhabitants. Aguilar was founded in 1806 and is crossed by the Agno River. The terrain is very flat in the valley and slowly rises towards the west towards the mountains.
