Umingan is a municipality in the Philippine province of Pangasinan . In 2015 the 270.8 km² area had 73,252 inhabitants, resulting in a population density of 271 inhabitants per km². The area is mostly very flat and hilly only in the east. The vast majority of the population speaks Ilokano . Agriculture (with rice, maize and tobacco cultivation) is the most important branch of business.
