Sual is a municipality in the Philippine province of Pangasinan and is located on the Gulf of Lingayen .
The terrain of Sual is partly flat in the bays, such as Pao Bay, and rises sharply inland. A bay also serves as a natural harbor ( Port Sual ), which, for example, offers protection to ships during a typhoon . The municipal area also includes several islands, such as the inhabited Cabalitian Island . The municipality was founded in 1805.
