Alberto Casadei (born December 5, 1985 in Mestre ) is an Italian triathlete . He is listed as third in the best list of Italian triathletes on the Ironman distance . (As of March 2019)

Career

Alberto Casadei started triathlon in 1998 at the age of thirteen.

His nickname is Silver and he starts for the Liger Triathlon Team .

First Ironman start in 2014

In June 2014 he started the Ironman Austria for the first time on the long distance (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running), where he finished tenth. At the European Championships in the middle distance, he finished seventh in October.

At the Triathlon World Championship on the long distance, Alberto Casadei finished 14th as the best Italian in Sweden in June 2015. At the first Ironman Maastricht-Limburg , he came third in August.

In April 2017, he finished second in the middle distance behind Jan Frodeno at the Chia Sardinia 70.3 Triathlon in Sardinia.

Alberto Casadei has been married since July 2017.
