Albi Albertsson
Albi Albertsson (born June 22, 1987 as Albert S. Gottschewski ), also known by his producer name MUSSASHI , is a German - Japanese songwriter , composer , music producer and founder of the music publisher MUSSASHI Publishing . He has produced for top acts such as KAT-TUN , Arashi , J Soul Brothers III, E-Girls, EXO , Girls Generation , SHINee and VIXX, and with over 25 number 1 placements and over 6.5 million records sold the most commercially successful active J-Pop and K-Pop songwriters and producers.
biography
Albertsson grew up in Germany, Japan and the USA. He plays several instruments, including violin, piano and guitar, and has been a member of various bands. He is a son of Hermann Gottschewski .
Musical career
In 2010 Albertsson began studying sound engineering at the University of the Arts , which he dropped out after the first semester. During this time Albertsson already composed and produced works for German and European artists, including Haudegen , Max Mutzke and Kitty Kat . He was under contract with BMG Rights Management for three years . He has been writing and producing music for well-known Asian artists since 2011 and has been awarded several platinum, gold and diamond awards for this.
His work “PARTY” by Girls Generation was touted as “Best Song Of The Week” on July 12, 2015 by the US magazine Vanity Fair .
In 2013 Albertsson founded the music publisher MUSSASHI Publishing in Berlin, which mainly focuses on the Asian music market.
