Alessandro Bastoni (born April 13, 1999 in Casalmaggiore , Cremona Province , Italy ) is an Italian football player . He is under contract with the first division club Inter Milan .

Career

Alessandro Bastoni began his career in 2004 in the youth of the US Cannatese , where his father was a coach. Two years later he joined the youth of Atalanta Bergamo , where he was trained for eleven years. As early as October 2016, he received the first nomination in the squad for a league competitive game of the first team, but was not used. He finally made his professional football debut a month later on November 30th in the fourth round of the Coppa Italia . When his team won 3-0 at home over Delfino Pescara in 1936 , he was called up from the start and used for the entire season. After regularly sitting on the bench during league games since October 2016, he played his first Serie A game on January 22, 2017 . In the 1-0 home win over Sampdoria Genoa , he was used again from the start and until the final whistle of the game. By the end of the season he came to two more appearances in the league.

On August 31, 2017, league rival Inter Milan signed Bastori. However, an agreement was reached with Bergamo at the same time on a loan deal for the player until mid-2019, which means that a change did not actually take place for the time being. Bastori made five competitive appearances for Bergamo during the 2017/18 season , although he was also irregularly active in the club's A youth team. With this he won the championship of the A youth league.

On July 14, 2018, Milan and Bergamo ended the loan deal from Bastori prematurely, which at the same time extended its contract term with Inter until mid-2023. At the beginning of August, Inter loaned him to league rivals Parma Calcio for the 2018/19 season . He made his debut for the team on October 7th in a 3-1 away win over CFC Genoa. He was substituted on for Antonio Di Gaudio after 61 minutes of play .
