Alfred Silhol
Alfred François Silhol (born October 12, 1829 in Saint-Ambroix , † January 29, 1912 in Paris ) was a French politician. He was a member of the National Assembly from 1881 to 1885 and a member of the Senate from 1894 to 1903 .
In 1881 Silhol entered the National Assembly for the Gard department . Eight years later he ran again, but failed because of the later MP Fernand de Ramel . In 1893 he did not apply again for a seat in the National Assembly, but waited a year and then ran as a candidate for the Senate. He managed to move in, but in 1903 he suffered another defeat. He then stayed in Paris, where he died in 1912.
