Fernand Crémieux
Josué Fernand Crémieux (born December 15, 1857 in Pont-Saint-Esprit , Département Gard , † November 26, 1928 in Paris ) was a French politician of the Parti radical . He was a member of the National Assembly from 1885 to 1889 and from 1893 to 1898 and a member of the French Senate from 1903 to 1928 .
Crémieux entered the National Assembly in 1885 as a member of the Gard department , but was not re-elected in 1889. In the next election in 1893 he was able to move into parliament in another constituency, but failed again in 1898 because of re-election. In 1903 he was elected senator, and was re-elected in 1912 and 1921. There he sat in the Gauche démocratique radicale et radicale-socialiste faction , which was close to the left-liberal Parti radical . Crémieux became ill with old age and died in office in 1928.
His daughter Suzanne was also a senator.
