Altmark circuit
The Altmark circuit is a long-distance cycle path that runs 460 kilometers through the Altmark and parts of the Jerichower Land district . It offers good connection options to the Elbe Cycle Path , with which it partly has an identical route along the Elbe .
The Altmark circuit crosses all the characteristic landscapes of the region such as the Elb-Havel-Winkel , the Land Schollene , the Wische , the Hellberge , the Drömling Nature Park and the Colbitz-Letzlinger Heide . It also leads through the eight historic Hanseatic cities of the Altmark and past numerous villages that impress with their imposing stone churches.
