André Almeida Pinto (born October 5, 1989 in Vila Nova de Gaia ) is a Portuguese football player .

Career

society

Pinto began his career in the youth department of FC Porto . In 2007 he received a professional contract and moved to the men's department of the club. Although he was under contract with FC Porto until 2012, he never played in a competitive game. Between 2008 and 2012, Pinto was loaned to other clubs within Portugal, where he only stayed for one season. Since 2012 he has been playing for the Greek first division club Panathinaikos Athens , with whom he also made his European debut.

National team

Between 2004 and 2010, Pinto played in all of Portugal's junior national teams and made a total of 45 international matches. On March 31, 2015, he made his debut in a friendly against Cape Verde in the senior national team .
