Andrea Huser (born December 11, 1973 in Alt St. Johann ) is a former Swiss mountain biker , triathlete and multi-athlete. She is European mountain bike champion (2002) and Swiss mountain bike marathon champion (2004, 2014).

Career

In 2002 Andrea Huser became European mountain bike champion. In 2004 she became Swiss champion in the mountain bike marathon and runner-up in cross-country. In July she finished fourth in the Mountain Bike Marathon World Championships.

She actually ended her mountain bike career in autumn 2004, but was quickly back on the start lists.

In 2009 she won the New Year's Marathon in Zurich and was the owner of the annual world record in the marathon for a few days. She has also won the Inferno Triathlon in the Bernese Oberland twice (2011, 2012). In 2013 she finished third at the European Winter Triathlon Championships. Since autumn 2013 she has also been active in ultra trail running.

In July 2018, Huser suffered multiple broken arms. The then 45-year-old was able to win the three-year ranking of the Ultra-Trail World Tour after the 2018 season . In June 2020 she declared her active time over.

Andrea Huser works in the Bern rehab center and lives in Sigriswil . She started for the Pro Sport Sigriswil club .
