Anthony Losilla (born March 10, 1986 in Firminy ) is a French soccer player who has been under contract with VfL Bochum since 2014 . He is right-footed and can be used variably in the central midfield .

Career

Anthony Losilla was trained as a youth at AS Saint-Étienne , where he received no professional contract after two years in the second team. He then left AS Saint-Étienne and played for AS Cannes in the National from June 2006 . He stayed there for two seasons and scored two goals in 73 league games.

In the following season Losilla moved to Paris FC , which was also represented in the National. After two successful seasons at Paris FC with nine goals in 74 league games, he went to the Stade Laval in Ligue 2 in summer 2010 . For Laval, the midfielder scored four goals in 76 second division games in two seasons.

After these two good seasons, some Bundesliga clubs were very interested in him. Losilla finally moved to Germany for the second division club SG Dynamo Dresden . There he signed a two-year contract until June 30, 2014, which he extended early for another three years until 2017. Since this contract was only valid for the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga, Losilla was able to transfer to VfL Bochum free of charge after Dresden's relegation in summer 2014 . There, the Frenchman was appointed the new team captain by head coach Robin Dutt for the 2019/20 second division season as the successor to Stefano Celozzi .

Private

Losilla is married and has had a son since November 18, 2012.
