Barış Əkinçiər , known in German-speaking countries as Baris Ekincier , (born March 24, 1999 in Hemer , Germany ) is an Azerbaijani - Turkish football player .

Career

society

Əkinçiər began his career at FC Iserlohn 46/49 . For the 2015/16 season he switched to the B-youth team at Rot-Weiss Essen . In August 2015 he made his debut against Fortuna Düsseldorf in the B-Junior Bundesliga . In September 2015 he scored his first goal for Essen's U-17s in a 2-1 defeat against Borussia Dortmund . By the end of the season he came to 25 missions in which he scored six goals.

From the 2016/17 season he should be used for the A-Juniors. He played his first game in the A-Junioren-Bundesliga in August 2016 against VfL Bochum . In the 2016/17 season he made a total of 25 appearances for the Essen U-19s, in which he scored a goal.

For the 2017/18 season he moved to the A-youth of VfL Bochum. In the 2017/18 season he made 17 appearances in the Bundesliga and scored five goals. In June 2018 he received a professional contract that ran until June 2020, after which he moved into the professional squad of Bochum for the 2018/19 season. In August 2018 he made his professional debut when he came on for Tom Weilandt in the 62nd minute in the DFB Cup against SC Weiche Flensburg 08 . He played his first game in the 2nd Bundesliga in April 2019, when he was brought into play for Miloš Pantović in the 74th minute against SSV Jahn Regensburg on matchday 28 of the 2018/19 season . This was his only season use. In May 2019, his contract was prematurely extended to June 2022.

For the 2019/20 season, Əkinçiər switched to the Austrian second division SK Austria Klagenfurt on loan . In May 2020, the loan was ended prematurely after eight appearances for the Carinthians in the 2nd division .

National team

Əkinçiər took part in the home European championships in 2016 with the Azerbaijani U-17 selection . There he came to two missions, but with Azerbaijan he had to retire as third in Group A in the preliminary round.

In 2017 he played for the U-19 team for the first time . In September 2018 he made his debut against Norway for the U-21 team . In the game that Azerbaijan lost 3-1, he also scored his first goal for a national selection.
