Apostolic Nuncio in Belgium
The Apostolic Nuncio in Belgium is the permanent representative of the Holy See (i.e. the Pope as subject of international law) to the government of the State of Belgium .
History of the Nunciature
Diplomatic relations between the Holy See and the Kingdom of Belgium began in 1835. The apostolic nuncio has the rank of ambassador.
