Axel Häfner

Axel Häfner (* 1965 in Bergisch Gladbach ) is a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

Axel Häfner received his acting training from 1992 to 1995 as an apprentice at the Schauspiel Köln . At the same time he took speaking lessons at the Theater der Keller and at the Musikhochschule Wuppertal. He was a member of the Cologne Theater Ensemble until 1998, after which he had guest contracts until the beginning of the 2000s. Häfner played there under well-known directors such as Karin Beier , Frank-Patrick Steckel and Werner Schroeter .

Häfner has worked extensively in front of the camera since the mid-1990s, often as a guest actor in series. He had continuous roles in 2001 as Manni Teckhoff in the series Die Kumpel and from 2003 in 16 episodes of the series Das Büro in the role of caretaker Horst Malitzki .

Häfner's voice has been known since the turn of the millennium through numerous radio play productions by the West German Broadcasting Corporation , including in 2008 in the very first radio crime scene feature The Emir . He works as an off-speaker and moderates various events, including in the medical sector.

Axel Häfner lives in Cologne.
