Bałamątek (German Old Mill , Kasch . Stôri Młin ) is a village in the north-west of the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship . It belongs to the rural community Ustka ( Stolpmünde ) in the Powiat Słupski ( Stolp district ).

Geographical location

Bałamątek is located three kilometers from the Baltic coast on a road that connects Objazda ( Wobesde ) with Rowy ( Rowe ) and Rówek ( Klein Rowe ) on the Lupow (Łupawa). Until 1945 there was a rail connection via the Wobesde station, only one kilometer away, on the Stolpmünde – Gabel – Stolp railway line of the Stolper Bahnen .

history

In its history, Alte Mühle has always been associated with the municipality of Wobesde (Objazda). Until 1945 it was a place within this municipality that was the seat of an official and a registry office district and belonged to the district of Stolp in the administrative district of Köslin (Koszalin) in the Prussian province of Pomerania .

Alte Mühle has been Polish under the place name Bałamątek since 1945 and is now part of the Gmina Ustka in the Powiat Słupski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship (1975 to 1998 Slupsk Voivodeship ). Bałamątek is incorporated into the Objazda Schulzenamt .

In terms of church, Alte Mühle was part of the Protestant parish Rowe (now in Polish: Rowy) until 1945 . It belonged to the church district of Stolp-Altstadt in the east district of the church province of Pomerania of the Church of the Old Prussian Union .

Since 1945 Bałamątek belongs to the Catholic parish Objazda in the deanery Główczyce ( Glowitz ) in the diocese of Pelplin of the Catholic Church in Poland . Evangelical church members living here now belong to the Kreuzkirche parish in Słupsk in the diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .
