Rówek (German Klein Rowe ) is a very small village in the north-west of the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship , rural community Ustka ( Stolpmünde ) in the Powiat Słupski ( Stolp district ).
Geographical location
Rówek is located northeast of Rowy on the opposite bank of the Lupow (Łupawa), which flows from the Garder See (Jezioro Gardno) into the Baltic Sea. The village can be reached via a side road that leads from Objazda ( Wobesde ) to the headland between the Baltic Sea and the inland lake.
history
Historically, Klein Rowe is closely connected to the neighboring town of Rowe (now in Polish: Rowy). Until 1945 Klein Rowe was a district of Rowe and belonged to the district and registry office district Wobesde (Objazda) in the district of Stolp in the administrative district of Köslin in the Prussian province of Pomerania .
In 1945 Klein Rowe became Polish under the name Rówek and is now part of Gmina Ustka in the Powiat Słupski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship (1975 to 1998 Slupsk Voivodeship ). Rówek is incorporated into the Rowy Schulzenamt in the historical continuity of the time before 1945.
church
Until 1945 Klein Rowe belonged to the evangelical parish Rowe (Rowy) and was located in the parish of Stolp-Altstadt in the eastern district of the church province of Pomerania of the Church of the Old Prussian Union .
After 1945 the - now Catholic - parish seat was moved from Rowy to Objazda ( Wobesde ). The affiliation of Rówek to Rowy remained, but the Church of Rowy now became a subsidiary church of Objazda. The Objazda parish became part of the Główczyce ( Glowitz ) deanery in the Pelplin diocese of the Catholic Church in Poland . Protestant church members living here are now integrated into the Kreuzkirche parish in Słupsk in the diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .
school
In school, Klein Rowe belonged to Rowe until 1945.
