Back to the Streets of San Francisco (Original title: Back to the Streets of San Francisco ) is an American crime film from 1992 , the content of which is based on the television series The Streets of San Francisco . Directed by Mel Damski , the only actors in the series are Karl Malden as Mike Stone and Loeren Carr as his daughter.

action

Captain Mike Stone has a dinner date with his former colleague Steve Keller, who now works as a university professor . When he does not appear, however, and the next morning, Keller's wife Anne shows up at Stone's and tells him that Steve has disappeared without a trace, Stone initiates a manhunt . It turns out that Keller was murdered by Carl Murchinson, a criminal who Stone and Keller arrested years ago. After Murchinson tries unsuccessfully to shoot Stone, he kidnaps his daughter Jeannie, who is visiting from Seattle . A showdown takes place in an old fort, during which Murchinson is overpowered and arrested by Stone.

In parallel, Stone's department is investigating the murder of a criminal who was shot in vigilante justice by the father of his victim . It turns out that the father had support from Lieutenant Charlie Walker, who then quits the service.
