from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The badminton Bundesliga season 2002/2003 consisted of a preliminary round in the "everyone against everyone" mode with a return game. In the following play-off round, the 1st and 4th as well as the 2nd and 3rd competed against each other in a return match. The winners of the two games determined the German champions, also in a return leg. The champions were SC Bayer 05 Uerdingen . Due to financial problems, both champions SC Bayer 05 Uerdingen and runner-up BC Eintracht Südring Berlin had to relegate , so that the play-down round to determine who was relegated did not take place.
