from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 2014/2015 Badminton Bundesliga season was the 44th season of the Badminton Bundesliga . Ten teams were at the start. The first three teams in the league played for the championship title in the play-offs. The TSV Neuhausen-Nymphenburg launched for the first time in the first badminton league. As champions of the 2nd Badminton Bundesliga South, the team qualified for participation in the 2013/14 season.

The champion of the 2nd Badminton Bundesliga North of the 2013/14 season, TV Refrath 2, was not allowed to be promoted because the first team belonged to the 1st Badminton Bundesliga. The runner-up, BV Wesel Rot-Weiss, waived the starting place. Furthermore, the SG EBT Berlin withdrew the Bundesliga team at the beginning of the season. Therefore, the two relegated athletes from the previous season, PTSV Rosenheim and SV Fun-Ball Dortelweil, were allowed to remain in the 1st Badminton Bundesliga. Defending champion in the season was SC Union Lüdinghausen .
