The 2006/07 badminton Bundesliga season consisted of a preliminary round in the "everyone against everyone" mode with a round trip and a play-off or play-down round. In the play-off round, the 1st and 4th as well as the 2nd and 3rd competed against each other in a return match. The winners of the two games determined the German champions, also in a return leg. The champion was the 1st BC Bischmisheim , who defeated the 1st BC Beuel EBT Berlin in both finals. The newcomer TSV Neubiberg / Ottobrunn had to relegate. The southern champion VfB Friedrichshafen made it to the first division in a duel against the northern champion VfL 93 Hamburg . After TuS Wiebelskirchen withdrew its team from the 1st Bundesliga at the end of July 2007, the Hamburg team was also allowed to advance.
