Bangladesh Tri-Nation Series 2019/20

The Bangladesh Tri-Nation Series 2019/20 is a three-nation tournament that will be played from September 11 to 24, 2019 in Bangladesh in Twenty20 cricket. In addition to the host, teams from Afghanistan and Zimbabwe will take part in the tournament, which is part of the 2019/20 international cricket season .

prehistory

Afghanistan previously contested a test in Bangladesh, which Afghanistan won. For Zimbabwe it was the first tour of the season.

format

In a preliminary round, each team plays twice against each other. There are two points for a win, one point for a tie or no result. The first two of the group qualify for the final and play for the tournament victory there.
