Bartkowski Dwór ( German  Bartkenhof ) is a small town in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . He belongs to the rural community Wieliczki (Wielitzken , 1938–1945 Wallenrode) in the Powiat Olecki ( Oletzko district , Treuburg district 1933–1945 ).

Geographical location

Bartkowski Dwór is located in the east of the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship , 13 kilometers south of the district town of Olecko (Marggrabowa , colloquially also: Oletzko , 1928–1945 Treuburg) .

history

Today's hamlet ( osada in Polish ) and former Bartkenhof estate was founded between 1839 and 1855. Until 1945 he was included in the community Bartki ( German Bartken ) in the Oletzko district (1933–1945 Treuburg district) in the Gumbinnen administrative district of the Prussian province of East Prussia .  

As a result of the war, the small town came to Poland in 1945 along with all of southern East Prussia and since then has borne the Polish form of name Bartkowski Dwór . It is now part of the rural community of Wieliczki in the Powiat Olecki , until 1998 of the Suwałki Voivodeship , since then it has belonged to the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .

Religions

Bartkenhof was parish up until 1945 in the Protestant parish of Gonsken (Herzogskirchen) in the church province of East Prussia of the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union and in the Catholic parish of Marggrabowa (Treuburg) in the Diocese of Warmia .

Today Bartkowski Dwór belongs to the Protestant parish in Ełk ( German  Lyck ), a branch parish of the parish in Pisz (Johannisburg) in the Masuria diocese of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland , and to the Catholic parish church of Wieliczki in the Ełk diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Poland .

Bartkowski Dwór can be reached via a country road that branches off the road Bartki - Nory ( German  Bartken - Nordenthal ) in a southerly direction. There is no train connection.
