Benjamin B. Zamani (born June 22, 1986 in Germany ) is a professional American poker player . He is two-time bracelet winner of the World Series of Poker and was 2016/17 as player of the year the Poker Tour World excellent.

Poker career

Zamani plays online under the nicknames xthesteinx ( PokerStars ) and TheStein ( Full Tilt Poker ) . Since 2007 he has been taking part in renowned live tournaments .

Zamani was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas at the end of June 2007 and cashed in a tournament with the Omaha Hi / Lo Split variant . At the 2008 WSOP , he made the money five times, including a. he finished in 601st place in the main event . In January 2010, Zamani made the final table at the main event of the European Poker Tour as part of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventures in the Bahamas and finished the tournament in fourth for a purse of one million US dollars . In mid-March 2014, Zamani sat at the final table of the Main Event of the World Poker Tour (WPT) in Lincoln . There he finished fifth for around $ 80,000.
