Joseph "Joe" Serock (born January 27, 1988 ) is a professional American poker player . He was named Player of the Year on the World Poker Tour in 2011/12 .

Serock is from Albuquerque in the US state of New Mexico . He lives in San Diego .

Poker career

Serock has been playing poker since 2004. He has been playing on the online poker platform PokerStars under the nickname floes since October 2006 , where he has won tournament winnings of more than 1.5 million US dollars . In addition, he won tournament prizes of over $ 500,000 at Full Tilt Poker as planetearf . Serock has also been participating in renowned live tournaments since 2007 .

Serock's first live cash placement came in January 2007 at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event in the Bahamas .
