The Löchligut (also Löchliguet ) is a common quarter in the statistical district Breitfeld of the district V Breitenrein-Lorraine . It is located on the slope on the city limits between the east bank of the Aare and Ittigen in the west (in between on the hill there are the Autobahn 1 and the tracks of the Olten – Bern railway line ). It is connected to the city via the Wylerholz and Wankdorffeld districts in the south.
In 2019, there were 208 residents in the quarter, 167 Swiss and 41 foreigners.
It is named after a former large estate. There are allotment gardens on the Aare, above them a development with single and multi-family houses.
The RBS bus 36 connects the district with Münchenbuchsee and Breitenrain (you have to change there to get to the center). The connection is seen as bad.
