The Neufeld is a statistical district (8) and at the same time a smaller common quarter in the north of the city of Bern . In addition to Neufeld, the statistical district also includes the Grosser Bremgartenwald , Hochfeld , Brückfeld and the northern rear part of the Länggass district .
In 2019 there were 5,429 inhabitants in the statistical district, of which 4,493 were Swiss and 936 were foreigners. In the smaller common quarter, only 9 inhabitants are given.
The Neufeld Gymnasium with the Bern Matura School for adults, the Lindenhof Hospital and the Neufeld Stadium ( FC Bern , FC Länggasse, Turnverein Länggasse, Gymnastische Gesellschaft Bern) are located in the usual area.
The bus station (car terminal) Neufeld is actually in the Kleiner Bremgartenwald , which is part of the statistical district 7 Felsenau . From here there are international long-distance bus connections. The bus station is connected to the Bernmobil line 11 from the train station , which is also the end of the line.
