Hochfeld is a common quarter in District II (Länggasse-Felsenau) and in the statistical district of Neufeld . heard. It borders on the common quarters Neufeld , Engeried , Brückfeld and Länggasse . It is included in the extended Länggass district.

In 2019 there were 1051 residents in the quarter, 899 of them Swiss and 152 foreigners.

In the quarter is the Freie Gymnasium Bern , a private school subsidized by the canton for around 350 pupils. A sports facility comprises two standard gyms, an outdoor area with an all-weather court, a hard court and a basketball, handball, long jump and shot put facility.

The bus route 11 connects the area with traffic.
