The Äussere Enge (also Usseri Ängi ) is a common quarter in District II (Länggasse-Felsenau). It borders on Vordere Engehalde , Hintere Enghalde , Rossfeld , Viererfeld and the Kleiner Bremgartenwald . The Felsenau Viaduct of the A1 motorway begins in the north .

In 2019, the population is 261, of which 212 are Swiss and 49 are foreigners.

The residential buildings in the quarter are multi-family houses and some terraced houses. The Christian School Bern is a denominational private school in the neighborhood.

The RBS connects the district with the Bern railway station via the Bern-Felsenau S-Bahn station and bus line 21 .
