The diocese of Nakhon Sawan ( lat. : Dioecesis Nakhonsauanensis , Thai : สังฆมณฑล นครสวรรค์ ) is in Thailand situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Nakhon Sawan .

history

The diocese of Nakhon Sawan was founded on February 9, 1967 by Pope Paul VI. established with the Apostolic Constitution Officii Nostri from cession of territory by the Archdiocese of Bangkok as the Diocese of Nakhorn-Sawan and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Bangkok as a suffragan . The diocese of Nakhorn-Sawan was renamed on July 2, 1969 in the Diocese of Nakhon Sawan .

It includes the provinces of Chai Nat , Kamphaeng Phet , Lop Buri , Nakhon Sawan , Saraburi , Sukhothai , Tak , Uthai Thani and Uttaradit .
