Black Breath ( . English Black Breath ) is a US Crustcore band, the influences of various punk - and Metal -Subgenres integrated into their music. Founded in Bellingham , it now comes from Seattle .
history
The band released their first EP Razor to Oblivion in 2008 after a few demo songs on the band's own label Hot Mass, on which they combined hardcore punk with elements of metal. This release brought Black Breath a record deal with the label Southern Lord , which then took over the re-release and distribution of the EP. In 2010 the debut album Heavy Breathing was released there , recorded by Kurt Ballou in his God City Studios .
The band played concerts with 3 Inches of Blood , Zeke , Himsa , Amorphis , The Accüsed , Toxic Holocaust , Pelican , Wolves in the Throne Room , Skeletonwitch , Sunn O))) , Dirty Rotten Imbeciles , Entombed , Jungle Rot and Corrosion of Conformity . In May and June 2009 she toured with the bands Victims and Trap Them , and in May of the following year with Converge again through the United States. In November, a European tour followed with changing supporting acts. In March 2011 the band played alongside Morbid Angel , Agalloch , Obituary , Municipal Waste and other bands at the Scion Rock Fest in Pomona , and in July at the Sonisphere Festival in Knebworth and the Tuska Open Air Metal Festival in Helsinki .
