Blue Bayou

Blue Bayou is a song written by Roy Orbison and Joe Melson ( en ) in 1961, and released in 1963 as the version sung by Roy Orbison. The song became a number one hit on the Irish and Australian charts in that version and peaked at number 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 . The single reached number 3 in the British charts.
