In 1967, Bramey-Lenningsen bordered clockwise to the north, starting with the municipalities of Altenbögge-Bönen , Westerbönen , Flierich , Hemmerde , Westhemmerde , Lünern and Heeren-Werve . All of these communities belonged to the Unna district .

history

The municipalities Bramey and Lenningsen included in the establishment of offices in the Prussian province of Westphalia to the Office Rhynern in district Hamm . On the occasion of the city of Hamm on April 1, 1901, the district became the district of Hamm. After an area expansion in 1929, this was renamed the Unna district in October 1930 .

On January 1, 1847, the two small communities Bramey and Lenningsen merged to form the new community Bramey-Lenningsen.

As part of the municipal reorganization, the municipalities of Bramey- Lenningsen and Flierich (both in the Rhynern Office ) as well as Altenbögge-Bönen , Nordbögge , Westerbönen and Osterbönen (all previously part of the Pelkum Office ) were merged to form the new municipality of Bönen on January 1, 1968.

The state road L 663 connects Bramey-Lenningsen in the west with Heeren-Werve , Kamen , Dortmund and Castrop-Rauxel and in the east with Flierich and Osterflierich . The state road L 881 leads south to Westhemmerde , Siddinghausen , Bausenhagen , Stentrop and Frohnhausen .
