Briatico is an Italian city in the province of Vibo Valentia in Calabria with 4267 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).

Location and dates

Briatico is 17 km northwest of Vibo Valentia on the Gulf of Sant 'Eufemia. The neighboring communities are Cessaniti , Vibo Valentia, Zaccanopoli , Zambrone , Zungri . The place consists of the districts Conidoni, Mandaradoni, Paradisoni, Potenzoni, San Costantino, San Leo and Sciconi.

Attractions

In the old part of the city there are ruins of a medieval castle. On the beach are the remains of two towers from the 16th century.
