Spadola is an Italian commune in the province of Vibo Valentia . The Strada Statala 110 leads through the Calabrian community from Monasterace to Pizzo .

Population development

Spadola had 937 inhabitants in 1961, but by 1971 the number quickly fell to 797 inhabitants. Several families moved to Zweibrücken in the Palatinate , where they opened a large number of the pizzerias that were emerging at the time.
