Maierato is a municipality in the Italian province of Vibo Valentia ( Calabria region ) with 2120 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). It is located 10 km northeast of the provincial capital Vibo Valentia and borders the municipalities of Capistrano , Filogaso , Francavilla Angitola , Monterosso Calabro , Pizzo , Polia and Sant'Onofrio .
