The province of Vibo Valentia (Italian. Provincia di Vibo Valentia ) is one of the five provinces of the Italian region of Calabria . The capital is Vibo Valentia . It has 157,469 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in 50 municipalities on an area of 1,139.47 km²
The province was separated from the province of Catanzaro on March 6, 1992 .
