The fourth season of Britain's Got Talent was from April 17 until 5. June 2010 on the British television station ITV broadcast. The season winners the acrobatics group Spelbound. The second place went to the dance duo Twist and Pulse and third place went to the then thirteen-year-old drummer Kieran Gaffney, who had already performed the previous year but did not make it to the semifinals.

The sixth audition show on television was postponed to the next day due to the 2009/10 UEFA Champions League final.

Jury & moderation

As in the previous year, the jury members remained the same. The moderation as well. However, Simon Cowell was replaced by Louis Walsh in an audition show because Simon fell ill that day. So this was the first show he missed.

Auditions

The auditions took place that year in Manchester , Glasgow , Birmingham , London , Cardiff and Newcastle upon Tyne . In the last city a show should normally take place in the previous year, but it was canceled at the last minute.
