The Brunei U-23 national soccer team is a selection team of Bruneian soccer players . It is subordinate to the Bruneian football association NFABD and represents it internationally at the U-23 level , for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations, at U-23 Asian championships as well as the football tournaments of the Summer Olympics and the Southeast Asian Games .
So far, the team has not been able to qualify for the Olympic football tournament or the U-23 Asian Cup. Brunei took part in the Southeast Asian Games five times, but never got beyond the group stage.
Eligible to play are players who have not yet reached the age of 23 and who are Bruneian citizenship .
